Owls Night
Monday, 15th September 6:45pm arrival for a 7:15pm start
We’re bringing back the ever-popular Bowling in the Dark for one final evening on the Green before it’s put to bed for the season!

Strictly limited to 40 players – first come, first served.

‘Twitchers’ (spectators) are very welcome to come along and enjoy the atmosphere.

Sign-up sheet goes up Wednesday, 6th August at the Summer General Meeting (7pm).

£12 per person, payable in advance – includes supper!

The Shed
As you may have seen, we now have a restored Kit Shed at the club, which has been lovingly refurbished and painted.
We're excited to share that it now has a name! In recognition of the hard work David Linney has contributed to the club over the years, we have proudly named it “The Linney.”
A huge thank you to everyone involved and especially to David for helping make this a special addition to our club.


Presidents Day 20th July 2025
We’re looking forward to an afternoon of bowls, buffet, and drinks as we celebrate and recognise our President this year, Tony Dowsell.


Annual Teachers Visit from Market Bosworth School
We were once again pleased to host teachers from Market Bosworth School for their annual bowls evening and fun games on the green. It was a most enjoyable event, finished off with delicious fish and chips from The Batter of Bosworth.

Season Open Day 2025
A successful first event at the club with over 30 bowlers taking part in a charity Spider. Then the first Club competition of the year was held, The President v the Secretaries Cup. The Presidents team prevailed and won the Cup on the day.

The Green
Thank you to David Linney and the Green team for nurturing the green and gardens over the winter its all coming together ready for our open day on the 12th April. The scarecrow is very fetching!
The new mower has now arrived and the first double cut has been completed successfully.
A very BIG "Thank You" to all who donated to help the club buy this so quickly.

RACE NIGHT 2025
We are holding a Race night on Friday 11th April. We hope to see you there more details and how to get tickets to follow closer to the date. Spaces will be limited to 60 so make sure you buy your tickets if you want to join us. NOW SOLD OUT!!

WINTER SOCIAL EVENTS 2025
We are holding our first Dominoes evening at the club on the 31st January meet at 7pm for a 7.30 start look forward to seeing you.

THE GREEN CLOSURE 2024
The Green has been successfully 'put to bed' by our hard working green keeping team. We look forward to the new season in 2025.



FINALS WEEKEND 2024
Friday- Sunday 13th-15th - 10.30am + 2pm games
With the final days of the season approaching the club is ready to have its finals weekend. Congratulations to all the finalists making their respected finals.

A good turn out is very much welcome to support the finalists and enjoy the last few days of the season.
PRESIDENTS DAY 2024
Sunday 21st July
Over 40 members attended to play for the men's and ladies trophies.
Richard Newby and Ken Gilbert sharing the men's trophy and Lorraine Hibbins winning the Ladies trophy. Lunch was provided alongside the president's speech.
We would like to say a big thank you to the organisers and helpers for the preparation, food and support.

PUBLIC OPENING DAY 2024

Sunday 12th May - 12pm
The club are opening the green and club to the general public who are looking for a new hobby! If you are interested in playing bowls and want the chance to start or you are looking to get back into the sport then this is the perfect day to start! Coaches will be on hand to help and advise. The bar will also be open.
All equipment and bowls will be provided...all you need to do is come along with some flat shoes!
We hope to see you on the day!

MEMBERS OPENING DAY 2024

Sunday 21st April - 2pm - The green opened ready for the season ahead!
The green was opened by our president, Brenda bowling the first wood. We had a friendly spider competition, with the winner getting a bottle of wine. This was followed by a 12 end game of 4 rinks.
The day was a complete success with a fantastic turn out from our members, and some new faces which was great to see! Following the great bowling we seen on Sunday, we have no doubt the club will have more positive news throughout the season.
We would like to wish everyone a great season of bowling ahead!
OPENING AND SOCIAL EVENING 2024
What an evening!
The night was well enjoyed by all who attended. Entertainment provided by Dave Moylan, resident magician at Warwick Castle was outstanding - his comedy, music and magic kept the members laughing throughout the night. Followed by a superb buffet...everyone left in a fantastic mood ready for the new bowling season to begin!

Charity / Fundraisers
The club regularly holds fundraising events for local charities.
In 2023, we managed to raise £700 for KeepTheBeat who are a local charity supporting those affected with congenital heart defects.
